McIllwrick

A Victorian terrace in Windsor, restored with its original character in mind through tessellated tiles, timber sash windows, cornices, skirtings and period details rebuilt to match the existing, before opening into a more modernist rear with dark timber joinery, a stainless steel island and bluestone paving beneath a steel pergola.

Old and new sit next to each other without pretending to match. That was the point.

Scope of work

Heritage frontage — timber window restoration and new front door, new modern front fence
Bedrooms and hallway — full restoration, new skirtings and custom wardrobes
Bathroom and ensuite — new framing, alterations, skylights and complete fit out
Rear extension — framing, brickwork, roofing and glazing
Kitchen — custom joinery, stainless steel island and butler's pantry/laundry
Study — custom built in joinery
Courtyard — bluestone paving, steel pergola and screening
